EVERY DROP COUNTS: HOW ONE FABRICATOR IS PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Protecting the environment and our water resources is one of the driving forces behind every decision that is made at Cloacina. Based in CA, a state often facing drought conditions, Cloacina understands that EVERY DROP OF WATER COUNTS! We manufacture package wastewater treatment plants that allow clients to reclaim up to 100% of their treated effluent for irrigation and sanitation purposes.

Cloacina is proud to launch our new environmental video series and give you a peek into how our employees do their part, every day, to protect our water resources!

WIVI 2017 RECAP

Here are some highlights from WiVi 2017 in Paso Robles.  WiVi is a great resource for local members of the wine industry and Cloacina was proud to be a part of it!

COLOR WALTER SAD AND DIRTY!

COLOR WALTER SAD AND DIRTY!
While surfing the Internet many years ago, Chris Nally, Cloacina’s Sales Manager stumbled on a coloring book called The Adventures of Walter Water Drop, an expository coloring book published by the Environmental Protection Agency in 1971. The main character, Walter, starts as a sad, dirty water drop, goes through the wastewater treatment process and then bounces out the other end clean and happy. It is quite amusing!

In honor of #worldwaterday Cloacina is sponsoring an adult coloring contest! WE WANT TO SEE YOU COLOR WALTER SAD AND DIRTY! Break out your college art supplies, color the attached page and then return it to us via mail or scan it in and email it to us by April 15! (2385 Precision Drive, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420 or ashleyp@cloacina.com) Make sure to put your name on it! The winner will get a $50.00 Amazon gift card! CLOACINA RECENTLY SHIPPED A 50,000 GPD MEMPAC I TO FAIRFIELD, CA

Cloacina recently shipped a 50,000 GPD Mempac I to Fairfield, CA.   Packaging and shipping this monster package plant was challenging as it required unstacking the double-decker wastewater treatment plant and the coordination and loading of seven separate low boy trucks and trailers.  This system is being installed at Caymus Winery by Fluid Resource Management and will be operational in the next few months. Stay tuned for further information after system start-up!

INSTALLING MEDIA IN THE PRIMARY FILTER

Watch how the Cloacina fabrication and up-fitting crews install media in the primary filter of a treatment plant under construction. Media is the surface on which microorganisms or “bugs” are grown and cultivated in a wastewater plant. The bugs break down and consume the waste material which is fed to them by the distribution header and spray nozzles.

STAINLESS STEEL: THE CLOACINA STANDARD

All Cloacina package wastewater treatment plants are fabricated out of 304 stainless steel as a STANDARD feature! While other manufacturers offer an upcharge to have their plants made from stainless steel, Cloacina does not compromise on quality! Tanks and equipment skids fabricated from stainless steel last decades rather than years and save clients significant amounts of money over coated steel plants!
